Privacy First: ZetaNotes processes all AI tasks locally on your device. Your notes never leave your computer unless you explicitly use third-party sync services.

1. What We Collect

We DO NOT collect:

Your notes or documents (stored locally only)
Usage analytics or tracking data
Personal files or browsing data

We DO collect:

Email address for customer support (optional, only if you contact us)
Payment information is processed by Apple through In-App Purchases

2. How We Use Information

Information collected is used only to:

Provide customer support when requested
Process refunds through the App Store if needed

Note: Subscriptions are managed entirely through the App Store. We do not collect or store payment information.

3. Local AI Processing

All AI features run completely on your device:

AI models are downloaded and stored locally
Your text never leaves your device for AI processing
Works offline - no internet required for AI features
No external AI services used (OpenAI, Google, etc.)

4. Third-Party Services

Apple App Store processes payments and manages subscriptions:

Payment information is handled entirely by Apple
We receive only confirmation of active subscriptions
No payment details are shared with or stored by ZetaNotes

5. Data Security

Your data is protected by:

macOS sandbox security (app can only access its own data)
Local storage (notes never transmitted)
macOS FileVault encryption

6. Your Rights

You can:

Export your notes at any time
Delete all data by uninstalling the app
Request account deletion by contacting support

7. Website Analytics

Our website (www.zetanotes.com) uses Umami Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to understand how visitors use our website:

No cookies or tracking pixels
No personal data collected
No cross-site tracking
Only anonymized, aggregated statistics (page views, referral sources)
Full GDPR compliance

Important: Website analytics are separate from the app. The ZetaNotes application itself collects NO analytics, telemetry, or usage data.
